Schaeffer’s
Oil Spring Nationals Series Releases 2026 Schedule and Announces
Loyalty Program
(December
12, 2025) As the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) trade
show starts its second day, series promoter Ray Cook is excited
to unveil the 2026 slate of events for the Schaeffer’s Oil
Spring Nationals Series presented by Coltman Farms Racing and
fueled by Sunoco. The tour schedule for the thirteenth Spring
Nationals season starts with a Peach State doubleheader on February
27-28 and concludes with a Memorial Day weekend tripleshot. In
all, fifteen events are scheduled over only six weekends and over
$485,000 in purse money is up for grabs.
Five different states are represented on the ‘26 Spring
Nationals schedule, as the series will snake through the states
of Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and Kentucky.
The miniseries will visit fourteen different venues in the fifteen
races including Swainsboro Raceway, Senoia Raceway, Little River
Speedway, Cherokee Speedway, Thunderhill Raceway, I-75 Raceway,
Wythe Raceway, Tazewell Speedway, Hidden Hollow Speedway, Ponderosa
Speedway, Lake Cumberland Speedway, Sugar Creek Raceway, North
Georgia Speedway, and Duck River Raceway Park.
While most Spring Nationals shows boast a $5,053, $7,553, or
$10,053 payday, a trio of events stand out above the rest on the
2026 schedule. For the sixth straight year, the biggest race on
the tour will be the Lil’ Bill Corum Memorial at the bad-fast
Tazewell Speedway in Tazewell, Tennessee. A $21,000 first place
prize will once again be on the line when the Spring Nationals
competitors roll into “The Taz” on Saturday, April
4. Previous winners of the Lil’ Bill Corum Memorial include
Jonathan Davenport ('21), Chris Madden ('22), Dale McDowell ('23
& '24), and Tyler Erb ('25).
The tour will co-sanction the annual running of March Madness
at the renowned Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, South Carolina on
Saturday, March 21 with the Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series.
A $20,053 winner’s check will be up for grabs in the first-ever
visit by the Spring Nationals to the “Place Your Momma Warned
You About.” Then on March 27-28, the Schaeffer’s Oil
Spring Nationals Series will return to Thunderhill Raceway in
Summertown, Tennessee for a two-day shootout. Following a $5,053
to win weekend opener at the newly-refurbished facility, Saturday’s
grand finale will boast a $15,053 paycheck.
In addition to the nearly half million dollars in purse money,
drivers competing with the Spring Nationals tour in 2026 will
also have a chance to sign up for the new Loyalty Program that
will pay show-up money to the top five at each series event. Over
$31,000 will be distributed to the top five drivers in points
throughout the year - $2,100 earmarked for each race. As part
of the new Loyalty Program, the top three drivers with perfect
attendance will receive $500 each race night, while fourth and
fifth will receive $300. More details on the Spring Nationals
Loyalty Program - including pit pass and entry fee perks - will
be released in the upcoming weeks, but interested drivers can
inquire for more information by contacting Ray Cook at 828-360-5353.
The Championship point fund also sits at over $21,000 for the
top five in final Spring Nationals points. The Champion will receive
$10,053 for his efforts, while second through fifth will receive
$5,053, $2,553, $2,053, and $1,553 respectively. If any drivers
fulfill the requirements to be eligible for point fund money and
sit outside of the top five, they will receive $1,053 following
the completion of the tour on Sunday, May 24 at Duck River Raceway
Park in Wheel, Tennessee. With purse money, Loyalty Program money,
and point fund money, drivers will be racing wheel-to-wheel for
over $540,000 this spring!
