Schaeffer’s Oil Fall Nationals Series Adds October 26 Event at 311 Motor Speedway to Schedule

(August 27, 2019) Officials with the Schaeffer’s Oil Fall Nationals Series presented by Sunoco Race Fuels has added an event at the Mike Fulp-promoted 311 Motor Speedway in Pine Hall, North Carolina to the 2019 schedule. The NASCAR Weekend “Grassroots Racing” special near Martinsville (Va.) Speedway will run Saturday October 26th paying $10,000-to-win and $500-to-start for the Fall Nationals competitors.

In addition to the Fall Nationals Late Models on Saturday October 26, the 604 Crate Late Models ($1,000-to-win), the 602 Crate Late Models ($1,000-to-win), the 602 Open Wheel Modifieds ($1,000-to-win) and the U-Cars ($500-to-win) will all be on the racing card running last chance and feature events. The preliminary action for the support classes plus and open practice session for the Super Late Models will be on Friday October 25. On October 26, track officials have announced that ticket prices in the grandstand area will be $30.00 per person for this mega event along with $40.00 per person in the pits. The gates are scheduled to open at 2:00 pm on October 26 and racing action will begin around 7:00 pm. The Fall Nationals competitors will have a full show of hot laps, qualifying, heat races, last chance races and the 60-lap main event.

With the addition of the October 26 date at 311 and the likelihood of an additional date added, series officials have also announced that drivers are allowed to drop one race from the final points at seasons end.

The Schaeffer’s Oil Fall Nationals Series returns to action with a double-header on Labor Day Weekend as the tour heads to Thunderhill Raceway Park in Summertown, Tenn. on Saturday August 31 racing for $5,000-to-win then Sunday September 1 at Tazewell Speedway in Tazewell, Tenn. for the Buddy Rogers Memorial racing for $5,044-to-win which is co-sanctioned with the Schaeffer’s Oil Iron-Man Late Model Series.
