Ray Cook and everyone associated with the O'Reilly Southern Nationals Series have been working hard over the past couple of months to get ready for the upcoming 2008 season. The '08 campaign for the O'Reilly Southern Nationals Series will mark the fourth year of existence for the two-week series. In 2008, the popular Southeast series will once again host ten Dirt Late Model events in a span of only thirteen days.

With O'Reilly Auto Parts firmly backing the series again next season, Ray has booked dates in five different states ... Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee. Many of the tracks that have hosted series events in the past will return again in 2008 with the addition of three new facilities. The Hartwell Speedway in Hartwell, Georgia, the Gordon Park Speedway in Augusta, Georgia, and the Green Valley Speedway in Glencoe, Alabama will all host shows for the first time next year. In addition, Ray has also increased the purse for each series race in 2008. The purses for both the $3,500 to win and $5,300 to win events have been beefed up to pay $450 to start and $530 to start respectively. You can view the entire 2008 purse structure here!
